I haven't checked on this for a while, but I'm still around, and am almost done with the column. I enjoyed writing it, but am feeling a little done with being a cab driver, or at least like I'll be cutting back on it significantly. And my computer sucks. So anyway, yeah, I'm (voluntarily) giving it up. But I fixed the link on the right, which will take you to the archive. When I'm done, maybe I'll start this back up, as plenty of things have happened which didn't really fit the WWeek formant.

Nice to know you're still alive and kickin'
Hope you enjoy a new found peace of mind.
I now how addictive blogs are its like not being able to give up golf cause you got too many sweaters.
Hey Crabbie. I used to post as MJ06 I started reading you back in 2006 when you started blogging. When it was 2006 I was only 18 and did not fully understand all of what you are saying. I am two days away from turning 21 and understand every thing you are saying now crystal clear. Your post back in August 2006 entitled "Sexy Beast" is one of the most relevant things I have read all year long. I just want to say that I hear every thing you are saying and I understand why you are fighting trying not to hate man kind I am there with you. Keep up the good work just remeber there is some one in Cleveland Ohio on the other side of the country who knows what you are saying. I don't work in the exact same industry but close enough to where I understand. Hey being on the right sid of the line is not fun but I would rather be on the right side of the line then the wrong side. Spike Lee said "Do the right thing". Any how Crabbie Keep it up and I give you mad props.
Hey Crabbie, I'm wondering if you are still around... Still driving? I'm a filmmaker (curleyjohnson.com) and curious about taxi driving in Portland, both as a subject for a film, and as a way of moonlighting. Are you still around?

liked your writing, hope u'll change your mind and continue to update the blog.
I don't know if you still visit your blog, but I have enjoyed it. I recently started one of my own if you ever get a chance. It sure keeps me busy, but it's fun to look back on such a unique profession.
I share your feelings about the job, it wears on you over time. I really admire, if that's the right word, people who are able to do this their whole life...
Anyways, if you get a chance I started a blog about my life as a taxi driver in San Diego.
