busted

I got clipped by a car today (as a pedestrian). Skinned knees, stiff right elbow, severe contusion (but amazingly no broken bones) on left hand. I'm off the streets for tonight and the weekend, not scheduled to work again until next Thursday. On vicodin and not typing too swiftly for the next few days, blog will be pretty dormant for the next week (so basically, nothing new).

OUCH! I'm sorry that happened and glad you are alive to tell the tale!
(Hint: Take some extra fiber with those vicodins.. they tend to stop upt he system..)

Wow...your hand looks painfull...so glad it was not worse but I am sure it is still not something you needed to happen.
But...on the up side...you could spend your nights looking for that female companionship that your life is lacking....(you wrote about that once) be well and feel better soon.

Gotta love the Universe's sense of humer. Drive hack and be safe, be a ped and get smacked up! Take it easy on your recoup, and ditto to anon, get out in the real world and have some fun. Just stay out of the street :)

Pain, suffering, loss of income, mental stress.

I think Mad Cabbie summed it up perfectly.
